IV City of Albarracín Photographic Festival 2020

The first, to highlight the human quality of all the speakers and collaborators; They attend altruistically and dedicating their time to this end, they have wanted to offer their grain of sand to the project and they contribute much with an extraordinary artistic quality that they will show to all who can enjoy the IV City of Albarracín Photographic Festival.

Thanks to the human effort and support of the Hon. City Council of the city of Albarracín as well as the altruistic collaboration of great photographers, who with the transfer of their time, knowledge and commitment have contributed to the development of the IV City of Albarracín Photographic Festival with the sole object and purpose of " spreading and sharing Art photographic in an accessible and supportive way "; using as a setting one of the most beautiful towns in Spain ...... being this as not Albarracín city declared a historical Artistic complex of great interest and having all the elements to be a magical setting where to develop an almost mystical photographic theme ... .. as is the Night and Long Exposure photography.

The Sierra de Albarracín, with its privileged skies, meets extraordinary conditions to enjoy stargazing, this is possible due to its very low light pollution, low environmental pollution, being at an altitude higher than 1,100 meters above sea level and low humidity density. All these elements make La Sierra de Albarracín a unique set to enjoy extraordinary skies for observation. If to all the aforementioned we add the great cultural activity of the entire Sierra de Albarracín and its people who have shown their great heart and solidarity on numerous occasions, we are sure that it is the ideal place to carry out the project that we are proposing.

How were the first steps of the "Ciudad de Albarracín photographic encounters"

It began as a small meeting of lovers of photographic art, with the sole purpose of sharing Art in an accessible way , especially in its Night and Long Exposure aspect, without neglecting other specialties from the world of Art. In November 2016 and with the participation of 25 attendees, it was the starting gun for what today is a must-see on the calendars of numerous photographers throughout Spain. It was in November 2017 when the II Ciudad de Albarracín Photographic Meeting was held , an occasion that reached a number of more than 60 attendees. In March 2019, the event was established in the National panorama of the world of night photography and long exposure with a full of facilities to develop the presentations, with 100 attendees (a ceiling set by the organization to guarantee the quality of the event) and with a waiting list to be able to obtain a possible place taking advantage of some loss of those already registered.

Objectives achieved in the last edition

Making Photographic Art reach in an accessible way together with Solidarity, with a collection that exceeded € 1,400 in a single day in favor of ASPANOA (Association for the Fight Against Childhood Cancer). We present a photographic Artistic event with a significant influx of photographic art lovers from various corners of Spain, managing to create a positive visual impact on Albarracín and the entire Sierra de Albarracín.

Pretensions for the IV City of Albarracín Photographic Festival 2020

We want to develop the following activities:

Friday, June 12, 2020 at 7:00 p.m., Inauguration of the IV City of Albarracín Photographic Festival and presentation of a photographic exhibition of 100 works.

A novelty of 2020 is to try to carry out a photographic exhibition with the participation of attendees, speakers, collaborators and organizers of the Ciudad de Albarracín Photographic Festival, being a great opportunity to show and see each of the different visions of Albarracín and La Sierra de Albarracín ; Participation will be voluntary (at the same time you contribute to a charity event). The works presented must be assigned by their authors and these will be printed by the Organization in PVC of 3 mm thick and 30 x 40 cm flat; At no cost to the authors since this cost will be subscribed by the City Council of the town of Albarracín. As they are exposed they will be put up for sale; and the possible collection of the sale will be destined entirely to the ASPANOA and ANUDI associations. The exhibition will open on Friday, March 27 with a starting price of € 40 each work, on Saturday they will have a price of € 30 each work and on Sunday a price of € 20 each work (A good opportunity for the author to take home his work for a donation), this last day the exhibition will be considered to be over and the remaining and unsold works will remain at the disposal of the Albarracín City Council for future exhibition and sale at the solidarity market that will be organized in the Plaza de Albarracín on 9 May 2020 at a price of € 20 each.

The format will be, attendance to presentations free of charge , a voluntary collaboration will be requested to the access of the conference room in favor of the ASPANOA and ANUDI associations , it will be a marathon day that will begin at 10.00 in the morning with 4 presentations of 4 speakers, and since we want a dynamic Photographic Festival and that attendees can make different options during the festival and decide for themselves what interests them the most and therefore decide whether to attend some activities or others to develop, it will be possible attend the presentation or presentations that most interest you, but at the same time and coinciding with the schedule of the presentations, they will have the training opportunity to carry out a workshop on boudoir portraiture (€ 45 per attendee, duration 3 hours), which will be allocated to the ASPANOA and ANUDI associations, ending at 14:30; And of course giving accessibility to the world of photographic art in an accessible way, another Workshop will be given aimed at introducing photography and given by the teaching professional José Julián ESTEBAN , which will consist of 3 hours and a maximum of 9 attendees to give quality in education.

Later we will have a 2-hour break (from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.) for lunch.

At 16:30 Second phase of the Festival : AFTERNOON 2 lectures and THREE workshops, attendees can make different options and decide for themselves what interests them the most if attending some activities or others to develop and will have an exceptional training opportunity both the theoretical and practical aspect with a series of limited places (to guarantee the quality of the training); 3 workshops will be held, one on composition and lighting in still lifes taught by Speaker Tino ROVIRA, a second workshop on Painting with Light (Light Painting) taught by speakers Ana ROGER and Antonio PÉREZ, both workshops with a duration of 2 hours (one contribution of € 30 for each attendee in favor of ASPANOA and ANUDI) from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. (Still life lighting) and from 8:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. (light painting) and finally they will have a third studio photography workshop with equipment of professional flashes and a lingerie model (BOUDOIR), taught by the artist Juan INDIO, workshop given at 4:30 p.m. and will last until 7:30 p.m., at a price of € 45 per attendee as a donation to ASPANOA associations and ANUDI (The expenses of the model will be reduced).

At 6:10 p.m. and until 7:30 p.m., Free activity for those who are not in the training workshops and who feel like it, we will have a meeting in the Plaza de Albarracín to photograph its streets and corners even with the last lights of the day (always trying to give different options to enjoy the Photographic Festival).

At 20:00, BIG DRAW , Taking advantage of the solidarity of many collaborators with the event, they have sent you a number of products related to the world of photography, which will be raffled among those who have acquired a numbered ballot of the one that to get it they will have had to make a donation of € 10 for each issue, (in the raffle they enter from training workshops with great professionals, passing through high quality photographic material such as current photography books).

At 20:30 , free activity in which we will have a Master Class offered by Pedro BLESA, he will show us how to look at our sky and be able to compose our night photographs with starry skies.

At 9:00 p.m. , free activity in which a telescope will be installed with a photo camera attached and connected to a screen to be able to take Astrophotography shots and all those present can enjoy and learn live.

From the end of the Astrophotography activity until the body endures, we will dedicate ourselves to photographing the streets and corners of Albarracín.

SUNDAY March 28, 2020.

At 11:30 . We will have a photographic studio for portrait workshop that will be taught by Juan INDIO, with a duration of 2 hours and a contribution of € 45 per assistant.

At 11.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. another Still Life Lighting workshop by Tino ROVIRA.

At 20:00 Closure of the 3-day photographic exhibition.

Speakers, Sunday June 14, 2020

Pedro BLESA , a photographer from Turolense with an extensive background in photography, will show us his great work in infrared photography, as well as the Star Light monitor will offer us a free Master class at 9:00 p.m. with a telescope and live astronomical photography, projected on a large screen the image made by your camera installed on the telescope.

Tino ROVIRA , Valencian photographer, a professional photography professional for years, recognized for his ability to compose and search for the greatness of the place in simple details, in his presentation he will talk about landscape photography with the use of filters and other techniques, in special will focus on the Albufera Valenciana. At 16:30 he will offer us a workshop on photographic development / Composition and Still-life Lighting with everyday elements and simple lighting that is easily accessible for everyone.

Fina LEÓN , landscape and great travel photographer, will be the first solo female speaker at Albarracín's photographic encounters, she will show us her extraordinary photographic work that will take you to each of the dreams of any photographer, and she will also talk about how it is the photography of women among men in their great travels through Spain and the World.

Luis ANTÓN, photographer of Soriana roots and current residence in Madrid, passionate about photography takes him to a high level in the magic of night photography and long exposure, being Soria the land that saw him born, he will present us with an excellent photographic work done with a lot of heart, how and what is his look at his native Soria, Soria, you can not imagine.

Ana ROGER and Antonio PÉREZ , Valencian photographers, passionate about photography who always enjoy as a couple, will be the first couple of speakers that we will have in Albarracín, they will show us their coordination when photographing, since among other modalities they are specialists in Light photography Painting, which requires complicity between photographer and light painter, using the imagination to develop homemade light tools that will later serve to bring that photograph they had imagined to reality.

Juan INDIO, Photographer of Madrilenian origins and settled in the city of Zaragoza, will show us his most artistic side in the world of portraiture and lingerie photography in an artistic way (BOUDOIR), capable of capturing the soul with black and white that mark a Very characteristic style, he will also be the teacher of the classes in 2 workshops, BOUDOIR (lingerie) and a third on portrait Sunday.

Alberto CASAS , Aragonese photographer specialized in sports and wedding photography, athlete, will offer us a presentation on how to make a different wedding.

MEMORIAL GARMENTS.

We also intend to put on sale a limited series of garments (t-shirts and sweatshirts) and a patch with references to this event; the price of making them has been increased by a representative amount that will be donated entirely to the associations that have already been mentioned above. We encourage you to buy them and your order will have a deadline because they must be made after paying for them, the price will be 25, 10 and 5 euros (sweatshirts, t-shirts and patch) and can be requested at the February 28, 2020

Limited forum

We inform that due to the capacity of the premises where the activities have to be carried out, a limitation of attendance has been determined in 110 people, this circumstance necessarily means that the order of registration is by chronology in the application.
